Squadron Decal Suggestion

Hello!

As per usual, I have ideas. 2 of them to be precise!
Both are about squadron decals, main difference is pricing.

1) Squadron Leader Pays To Submit Decal, But Decal Is Free To Members.
Probably the most awkward way to do it, but it means members of the squadron don't need to pay for a decal.
Basically the squadron leader "purchases" a decal, which they submit themselves for FD to check over and add to the game.
Then any member can apply said decal for free.
This would cost the squadron leader more (say £15~ or something- but can potentially request donations from its members).

Or
2) Decal Submission is Free, But Members Pay.
This way is probably the more "simple" method. Squadron leaders submit a decal for FDs approval.
Then either;
2a) CMDRs can purchase a generic "squadron decal", which changes automatically to match whatever squadron the CMDR is in (or is blank if in none).
2b) CMDRs buy squadron specific decal, which can only be applied if you're in the matching squadron.
These decals would be £1~.

Not sure which method would work best, or be most economical for FD, but it'd be pretty awesome to have Squadron decals for our ships and CMDR.

It'd also be nice, as a bonus idea, to be able to apply special effect to the decal, to make it glow and whatnot. :)

Thoughts?

FDev could add a decal designer for squadrons, where you can choose from various shapes, forms, colours, etc to create you own decal.

Something along the lines how Minecraft allows players to design their own banners.

Now squadron leaders can design their own decals, and squadron members get the option to use that decal.

I've suggested something like that before.
+1

I used Battlefield 4s Emblem as an example. That was pretty powerful, and entirely web based.

My emblem was this;
