Part 3 of my little series on Squadrons. The previous post was about internal leaderboards.
Squadron Text Page
Now as it currently stands the only way for a squadron to communicate in game is the Squadron Chat, which I also have a few words for a later entry and the Statements, for permanent notifications. My problem with that is of course the limited space to include everything from News about current Plans, Winners of internal Contests(if your squadron does such things), RP-Stuff and Basic Information, such as Discord Link, Rules and so on in one internal Statement. We can also not format it properly and the position inside the communication panel is less then ideal, the current lightning makes it almost impossible to read it sometimes.
It is almost like FDev expects people to run third party sites instead of relying on Squadrons. I am not saying large groups shouldn't do that and even small groups have a right to do so, but if I run a small ship, I would also love to have the alternative of relying solely on what the games offers me.
With that I would like to propose to give every squadron a big Wall of Text located in the Squadron Menu, that they can customize as they see fit with basic Style options and either 1-2 full Pages of the center Element.
I don't think I need to make this even longer so I spare you practical implications of such a feature as you might imagine already a few yourself.
Diplomatic Relations
On of my biggest troubles in running our PMF so far was the moment we accidentally expanded into a system with another PMF and realizing this only after already taken over. We didn't want war so we tried to locate a contact for the Player Group. INARA didn't brought anything up and it took me almost 3 days until some member of an allied Squadron could point me towards a potential lead and another 2 months to get an answer as the other PMF was from an Console Group, with leadership rarely checking INARA for PMs. With squadrons this should be avoidable with 2 simple tools:

- First of all a Minor Faction should somewhere list all the Squadrons, that pledged their Allegiance to that particular Faction. Since this is one Galaxy it shouldn't be that hard to even list Squadrons from different Platforms and indicate that fact, so i would have at least a Name.
- Then you should have the ability to make a Statement towards another Squadron. Think of it as a public statement, but it pops up in the Feed of the targeted Squadron. It is replaced with new ones and it would require permission to see them and write them yourself.
