Squadron Upgrades

It's fun being part of a squadron, especially a large and active squadron. You grow the squadron, expand into new systems, wing up, etc. But what if squadrons could do more?

  • The leader could create difficult squadron goals, like community goals, to establish a new station, or inhabit an empty system.
  • What if there was a Squadron Lounge, with mini games? (chess, poker, or how about a Gwent like game with Alliance, Imperial, Federal, and Independent decks) Like there'd be a "bar" in the home base station (or other large stations the squadron takes over), where members could go an socialize and relax.
  • What if it was visible just how much people in the squadron were helping the squadron's goals (ships killed, influence gained, missions complete, etc)?

Also, on the PS4, there are a lot of blue screens related to wing missions and busy systems. There are blue screens at the award screen for CQC, Thargoid Interceptor fights, jumping out of CZs on wing missions, etc. It's blue screens a lot. These bugs are reported through Playstation, they're reported on the bug report page, they're reported on Reddit and here.

The feeling many in the community get is that FDev doesn't care, because we don't see recognition of the issues. I wouldn't even mention it here if my 40+ reports through the Playstation, multiple reports to support, and other folks doing the same was getting through to someone who cared. The last few patches seemed to create a lot of issues that aren't getting fixed. Do you have playtesters besides people who paid for the game? Have them join a squadron on the PS4 and ask about bugs and blue screens. You'll find 4-6 ways to reproduce the crashes within a week, like playing CQC, or joining an AX zone, or participating in a wing heavy Combat Zone.
 
What I would mainly want right now would be a way for the squadron leadership to influence the supported faction's expansion target. It probably shouldn't be ironclad command, more like a weight the system would consider when choosing the expansion target. That way it would work even with multiple squadrons suggesting different targets.
