Squadrons front page? Does this exist?

I've created a Squadron and gone through the tags etc. What I can't see is a motto headline front page with a bit of information regarding what the squadron stands for.

I can see up top in the chat panel you can access posts, but what about a real page for the squadrons full screen display segment?

Does this even exist?

Use the 'public announcement' option to make a post. It's not very clear but that's the one that shows up on the recruitment page etc.

And where in the Squadrons tab is this displayed? I see no headline front page for me to set a motto and small description of the Squadron and what it stands for.

If what you speak of is external to the game then that is unfortunate.

The upper left panel lacks what I want from a squadrons page for any announcements.

There needs to be an interface for configuring what is shown to potential applicants, the current confusing public announcement method is poor. I can't even preview it since I'm already in the squadron.

Add also the fact that there is no separate permission for internal announcement and public announcement, so squadron leaders need to reserve that permission for themselves, in case someone accidentally posts a public announcement and changes the welcome page. Whic then means others can't make internal announcements either. Also, has anyone figured out squadron chat? I admit I may be missing something. Where is squadron chat? Where is an overlay for squadron chat? 4 ranks is also not enough.

for squadron chat, just type \s in the comms chat panel, and it'll turn (Alliance :D ) green

any message sent in that green chat panel will be squadron wide

I cannot see any page in the Squadrons Hub that displays any internal message I can use as a set motto or whatever. That third screenshot show it to lay in the hub, but I cannot gain access to such a page.

Results and then Details tab.. Hmm.

When using that need to be aware also that although it allows you 600 characters to enter your public statement, it will only show something like the first 250 characters on your squadrons page before the rest of it gets truncated off with no way for anyone to scroll down to see the rest of it.

If using default controls, press '2' to bring up the comms panel on the left hand side then tab to the 5th icon on the right as per screenshot to get to where you enter both public and internal messages

No, I mean the third screenshot that shows from within the actual hub.

It's within the Hub I would like to see a front page with a welcome message and motto. I really hope FD add more to this. It's seems a bit thrown in like they did with multicrew.

The only way I could get that up to see was to go to the filter squadrons menu (which is totally broken by the way) and using the search function at the top left on your own squadrons name
