This was a new one to me as a gamma backer and playing since December 14.
I was in a uss with the usual two or three bandits in fighter class vessels harassing a hauler or two. My mission was to kill 9 pirates in this system and these guys were going to add nicely to that tally. No sooner had I killed the first shield less eagle when my radar filled with new contacts and I mean filled. I kid you not an entire squadron of cops dropped out of supercruise, twenty ships and I was wanted. They pretty much all turned red and started to lay into my war Python. Death by a thousand cuts had I not left pronto. It was like something out of the latest battlestar galactica when the Cylon Raiders appear, shat attack and all.
Never seen so many cops or anything do that before.
