I've been thoroughly avoiding using the SRV after having tried once, just because I'm not really interested in what this could provide (I'd love to have a skimmer though)
However, because of the Engineer upgrade thing, I've had no choice but to use it to get the necessary ingredients (thanks FD for forcing us to do things we don't want to)
I pretty much manage to get the minerals and metals (the hardest thing is not to fall asleep).
But I don't manage to get data point. Then I wondered : does the ship (not the SRV) need to be equipped with a data scanner or something like that to enable the SRV to scan some data points ?
Also, I can't find anymore the way to get back in the ship when it is docked, I always need to get out of the no fire zone and call the ship...
