SRV Cannon Will Not Shoot from this HUD mode. It is in combat mode. Just to check I switched to analysis mode. No joy. Switched back to combat. I'm in the turret but it won't shoot from SRV cockpit either. In the bottom right it says SRV Turret Cam. I did not turn on the camera which I've got set to a 3 keys toggle so turning on the camera by accident - nope.

What the heck. Go away for 3 or 4 weeks, come back and I can't shoot my SRV cannon anymore. Options for controls and SRV gun has no option for firing (which used to be the joystick trigger).

I use a Thrustmaster T16000M with the TM TWCS Throttle.

Something wierd happened and I've no clue what.

OH and now there is a Telepresence Active message bottom left of SRV with a graphic of a signal. Again what the heck.

Not on STEAM version so ED didn't update while I was gone!

Can't figure it out - tried and tried but the darn cannon won't shoot and I can't find a control assignment to even assign a button to now.

Any ideas about what could be going on????

The Telepresence is your link to the turret which only contains the guns and a camera.

Can't be too close to the ship if he was getting the turret view.

I haven't been able to shoot in the SRV since the exploration update. I suspect you need to change HUD types either in the SRV or before you enter it but I haven't played SRV since so I haven't tested that.

Post a video or pics, include view of the fire groups (you only need one GG - assign C/S with D/L in same group).

Edit: Pretty sure others have reported similar and had gone through all this - they ended up needing to sell their PVH and buy a new one I think. Google for it.

Despite having played since before Horizons I'd never spent sufficient time shooting at stuff in the SRV to run out of ammo, even when gathering Guardian tech, until a couple of weeks ago when I was blasting materials from a geological site on the far side of the core. I was this >< close to raising a support ticket before I realised what had happened. Not saying this is necessarily what's happened to the OP, but its a timely reminder to check all the obvious things.

Did you check your right hand tab, if your modules list existed and if everything was powered on?

I don't know if the bug is still around. It didn't happen to me for a while, but at some time something went wrong, my right hand panel didn't have modules listed and some systems apparently were not powered up. A relog fixed that.

That's the point. In the SRV section I do not see a fire control assignment. Used to be there in the T16000M profile but not anymore. Did ED update something thru their online servers, maybe that bypasses the normal update process? Corrupt key bindings file?

Hmmm....
I'll check fire group on the SRV - didn't consider that. Not too close though angle of fire maybe an issue. I usually am 50m away from my target, though, so...
Thanks for all the responses, guys. I'm gonna jump into ED and check everything now.

EDIT: Just checked. SRV fire group B primary fire. 1910 rounds of ammo available.
Still can't find a primary fire assignment for SRV gun under any of the SRV controls.
