First of all this is very very early.
Second of all it may not be possible.
But:
When Horizons comes out I will be taking either my Asp or Anaconda in a nice circular loop counter-clockwise(ish) around the galaxy. I plan to travel the first third or so in Fastest mode and be at 2 O clock from Sagittarius A* within a week (assuming human space is at 6 O clock). And then travel economy until I get bored
I will be taking fuel limpets and I will be taking 2 SRV's to explore. I will also have spare space, and that got me thinking, are all explorers coming back home for SRV's? I know there are at least 3-4 explorers who haven't been back to civilisation in months and if they want to stay out there I want to give them the option!
So if people wish I will also pack in spare SRV's (3 per person max) for anyone who is beyond Sagittarius A* and wants one, so let me know here and I'll message people who ask when Horizons goes beta to get in-game friends and arrange a rough schedule for a meeting
Now, it may not work because SRV's may require a special module. I am writing this post assuming they will fit in your cargo rack just like limpets do but if that is not the case then sorry I can't help afterall, although I assume we'll only find out at beta. <- Any Dev comment would be nice
Also even in my Anaconda I will only have 144T of space (so 24 limpets and 30 SRV's Max). That means I can't supply more than 10-14 people (I want some myself too), I also don't really want to run full but could do if this idea of mine proves popular. If there's too many then I hope any other explorers planning a post-Horizons trip may join me in the supply drops (again assuming it works).
Should be fun, although the SRV rats doesn't have the same ring to it.
