Hey all,
I posted previously, but the post got cluttered with other discussions.
I am 17k ly from the bubble on an exploration mission. While in my SRV and making some changes to "options" I ended up back in my ship with the SRV just missing.
I contacted support and after 2 days they said they'd fixed it, but when I logged on, both of my SRV's were now missing, leaving me with none.
Frontier support seems good for one reply per day, so now on day 6, I'm no better off. After a few wasted replies about "are you sure it's gone" someone has twice said they fixed it, but it's not fixed. I have no SRV's. I'm sure they're trying, but waiting a full day for a reply after 6 days isn't fun.
I've decided to just head back to the bubble, buy two more SRV's and come back to where I left off. That's 664 jumps round trip, but honestly they can't seem to fix it, and doing something is better than nothing and just waiting around and not playing the game.
I am currently at: Prie Aim EM-D D12-1
My original plan was to go out a ways, then explore my way in towards Sag A which I've never visited. So the bubble is 17k LY away and Sag A is 19k Ly. My plan is to just repeatedly jump as fast as I can, not doing any FSS to slow me down to get some new SRV's.
My question is, is there anywhere in the systems by Sag A that will sell an SRV? I've looked at Inara and EDDB but all they show is a couple of fleet carriers in the area. If I can buy SRV's near Sag A, i think it makes more sense to b-line it there, buy them and then poke around. If they don't sell them there, then I think it makes more sense to return to the bubble, buy SRV's, repeat-fast-jump back to where i left off exploring and then continue.
As I said, I'm tired of waiting, at this point "doing something" even if it's a frustrating 11 hours of jumps, is better than sitting around waiting, while Support answers once per day and can't seem to fix my problem.
Advice?
