Newcomer / Intro SRV drive forward while holding button?

Is there an option for SRV that works like your main ship where you accelerate only while holding down a button? I really dislike using the throttle normally. I prefer t hold the button while driving until I need to stop. It's much easier for close range items.

It's called drive assist and you'll find it in your control bindings where you can set it as default.

Yes, drive assist off and throttle to hold not toggle.

I see where to turn drive assist off by default. But I don't see anything about throttle being a toggle.

do you mean drive assist off by default and drive assist as a hold?
