Horizons SRV driving and turret

How can I steer when I have my turret active?

How can I use the turret when driving?

The tutorial says its neural linked. But my neutrons can't figure it out :)
 
I use a 360 pad to drive the buggy with the left stick as throttle and steer, and right stick to look around with he turret. :)
 
I use my HOTAS yaw as steering, and my mouse as turret control. I can indeed look around in the turret, and use the front bumper grill as a reference (as well as the "turret pointing thisaway" display) to steer the rover how I want it... but its confusing- and more than a little nauseating actually driving around bumpy ground in that first person view (oddly the canopy "shift" seen in ship cockpit and rover helps a lot for me)

But I don't think you can sit in drivers seat and control turret- its automated (like gimbaled guns)- auto aiming at what you've locked onto.

I use an X55 and I have my turret assigned to a hat switch on the stick and use steering of the SRV by x-axis on the stick. I also assigned the twist axis to turn the turret (for fine tune aiming).
