Before anyone replies read the following:
I have searched high and low, and the only instances I see of SRV turret--and other turreted or gimballed weapons for that matter--this issue occurring are when the weapon is not bound to a fire group, or when the weapon's target is beyond its firing arc. That being said, neither of those two conditions are true for my situation. If you are going to tell me its a fire group or firing arc issue, please do not reply. My turret is bound a fire group, the fire group is active, and I have tested against skimmers that I kept dead center or slightly below or slightly above the main reticle.
Now, the weapon appears to have an empty magazine. I synthesized fresh ammunition so now the ammunition feed now shows: 2000/0. As far as I am aware weapons in Elite: Dangerous do not have manual reload options. They reload automatically when they are empty until there is no ammunition left in the feed. The weapon fired until its magazine was empty, and now it will not fire again--another reason I know the issue isn't related to its firing arc or fire group.
What am I doing wrong?
