***400km // 6 Hour Endurance SRV Race Track***
Now that the SHEPARD Mission has concluded, I would like to share with the exploration community a race track we used during our waypoint 1,500 light years below Sagitarrius A*, know as Red River Run. If anyone is interested in attempting the race, I have included the map here, along with a video description. The full course covers 400km and takes roughly 6-hours to complete. The race covers 10-legs, 9 waypoints, and almost 400km along the moon’s surface through valleys, dried river beds, craters, and mountains. The rotation and revolution of the moon aligned with the sister moon, parent gas giant, and nearby planetary nebula offering incredible views.
Below is the course map, along with a video description fly-through of each of the legs. If anyone is interested or near Sag A* we could arrange a second-running of the course - just reply to this thread! Godspeed Cmdrs!
