SRV feels worse than ever

Am I just imagining this, but SRV feels lazy an more .. unstable than before. Like it was never even close to a decent vehicle, but now it's just outright bad.
So yeah.. is it just me or did they actually change it?

The throttle feels way more sluggish to me. And the plasma repeater bolts look really cartoon-ish to me. I can't fathom what they fiddled with to screw the srv up unless they made another srv type and forgot to release it but accidentally applied the driving profile to the regular srv.

It seems the same at good frame rates, just uncontrollable around the new bases. Nothing like a single threaded mess without any kind of parallelism or task scheduling to force all your controls under the mercy of your fps.

Wish they had done things like add more SRV options, customizable SRVs, more things for the SRV to do (more scientific instruments, etc).

Much more compelling to me (and way less work for them) that tacking on a FPS

I think the poor frame rates are attributing to the sluggish feeling controls. When I finally got on last night, I instantly noticed my new found lack of control over the scarab. I am struggling at around 30fps. I have heard that deleting the graphics ini file can help.

Out last night running around 2 rocky bodies on the SRV I'd say it is still exactly the Horizons driving model we have always had. Spins out if it sees a pebble...
(I was on around 90 FPS on these bodies)

I've driven SRVs in both editions today and not noticed any difference. But I did have to drop the graphics quality slightly to get a decent framerate in Odyssey.
