Horizons Srv gun and unique escape pod

Hi

2 questions 1 especially making me feel dumb!.

In the controls menu where is the option to assign the srv laser? I have been through every control and can't find it. Bit of a bummer when you can't shoot!


Also finally I have done a bunch of missions all worked great

But one I need to rescue a damaged escape pod on the planet surface.

I found 1 escape pod but it was not the mission specific one. Will the blue circle on the surface look different for the specific one like the mission use does?
