Here's how little I do planetary landings.
Last night was the first time I actually did some prospecting.
After finishing, I couldn't locate my ship.
Hit 3, see only my SRV listed.
I nearly crapped my pants.
My ship, where's my ship? It's missing!
I immediately assume the worst, some CMDR has destroyed it, or there's some bug at play, I better log out, and back in again, maybe the bug will clear itself out.
But first, I'll follow my tracks back to the ship, yes. That was a waste of time, since my tracks overlap many times, since I'm terrible at driving.
Log out & in, I'm still on planet, hit "3", see only my SRV listed, now getting worried.
What did I read, oh yeah, if I quit and restart Vanilla, I'll be in orbit on my ship.
Do it.
Wait, one last thing before doing this, Google.
Oh, you have to select your SRV to open another set of options.
Recall ship. Board it.
I'm such an idiot.
