Is this a thing? If not, why not, and I'd like to start it.
I was playing around at the ruins the other day in the beta, basically just flying the SRV. At one point during a very long glide, someone managed to get underneath me and bounce me up a fair bit. Admittedly my hull went down to 8%, but it did occur to me that we could definitely make a contest out of this.
So, my proposal for SRV keepy-uppy is...
1. One SRV required.
2. You can use three repairs while in the air. You can use a premium repair as the final repair (might be necessary to survive the landing).
3. The aim is to stay in the air as long as possible, and land successfully at the end. So, if you lose the SRV (either due to a bad bounce, or a bad landing) then that doesn't count.
4. You can have as many ships attempting to keep you up as you like, but you are not allowed to remain on any ship for more than two seconds (this should give enough time for a bounce without completely destroying the SRV).
5. Once you have been bounced by a ship, it must move at least 50m before you can bounce on it again.
We may need more rules, depending. Though I'd like as few as possible.
Anyone up for this? While I won't personally be online until around 9pm game time today, I do already have an Asp at the ruins with three SRVs left.
Of course, if this is already a thing and I've missed it... Please point me to where I need to go!
