SRV prospecting music

Anyone noticed the SRV music that starts playing randomly when you are in the SRV?

i've not gone mad i promise, i recorded it ill upload for evidence if you need it??

definitely a piano at one point, just converting video onto vimeo and i can link it (takes forever with free account)

not heard any sounds for the past 400km but now all of a sudden the planet is singing (so to speak)....

yes, i know this - but i'm not sure it is connected to prospecting, not simpy !ambient music" for being on a surface. the piano is much of a surprise! unfortunatly it makes listening to the wave scanner complicated for me.

here you go, apologies for driving around through some of it, but it really does just start randomly, i tried to stop and listen when i noticed it.

i dont mind it, but ive not noticed it before on over 50 planets and 400km

How did you trigger it? I've been driving and prospecting for hours over hours since Horizons release, and never got to hear it myself once!

I turned it off some time back, it just completely creeped me out. It's REALLY bad when you're on a dusty world and the ambience gets way too scary.

i've been driving around for hours trying to find polonium, perhaps Elite felt sorry for me and i needed some music.

like i say 400km of previous driving and no music, all of a sudden music! - shortly after the music i found polonium too... coincidence?

Okay, had a listen, it is part of the ambient background noise (though it's more music than noise). Nothing particular, unfortunately! You can have something similar by floating around in space too.

That's right. I really enjoy those ambient atmospheres in game. They really add to the vibe......... my opinion.

I never actually listen to music and always disable it from the options in any game. However the "ambience" of this game is spot on and very musical.

If I did want to listen to music I would probably be asking FD to put in a CD player on the bridge............... and possibly a cup-holder!
