SRV stops boosting

Does anyone have trouble with their srv stop boosting. After about 4 to 7 boosts my srv just stop boosting, nothing to do with pips and if I go back to ship and re launch srv it is fixed for a bit. its been doing that for over a year.
I will move my pips around, hull still at 100% can't fix it till I re-launch from ship, strange.

A video would help, hopefully it's just something simple you've overlooked, but it could be a bug

I use the SRV a lot & haven't ever had this issue apart from the eng capacitor being drained for one reason or another.

Funnily enough I do sometimes have issues, but I'm 99% sure that it is the button on my X56 throttle causing them. Other than that, I can boost for hours...

Not something else daft like too close to the ship?
Actually I can't remember if that even has an impact.

Not too close to ship. Funny thing is if i go into ship and just relaunch it works for a bit. May still be hardware same button as ship boost snd that always works

the other command to make my srv jump is the space bar and that still works when throttle button stops working.
Seems i have found the trouble with jumping in my srv, It seem to be the button on my T1600 Thrustmaster throttle. changed to different button and works now.
the old button does work but i think its the logic inside that gets stuck because if I reload the srv it gets reset and works again.
the button always works on other functions.

You need to give that button some love. I'm used to lubing my shaft, but not so experienced with loving the button in the right way. That's if I can find it.

that sounds really odd. unless you are running some middleware (TARGET or such) or macros, there is no shared logic between your joystick driver and elite's srv handling code. one uses the other but they don't know squat about each other. if that behavior is really consistent (our brains can't help but to try to give meaning to random events), then i would rather look at what different use you are making of the controls when in srv vs in ship, or what specific controls are involved in the docking/deploying procedure resulting in the "reset". i mean that some specific control or action might be mechanically influencing the response of nearby (possibly half faulty) controls. as a crude random example: the boost button contact fails but this gets temporarily mitigated by repeated pressure on a trigger slightly deforming the housing. if that makes sense
