Log in to the base game and choose to recover to orbit.
When you recover to orbit, the SRV module will be deactivated.
After logging back into Horizons, remember to re-power the SRV Hanger! Took me 3 landings to work that out...
You could always self-destruct the SRV (you only lose the SRV & its 2 tons of cargo, your inventory and reputations are unaffected.

Or, if you want to resolve this in-game, you could trigger the Hull Seals

Or if you have a friend, ask them nicely and they can take a Cobra (it's the best ship for this kind of thing because of its shape - I've done it twice for sombody) and come scoop you up. Or at least nudge you out of the hole.Or, if you want to resolve this in-game, you could trigger the Hull Seals

Btw. that base game re-log exploit - I suppose it is going to be precluded by Odyssey as at its launch the "base game" will include the Horizons, right?

Don't think so - right now the base game and Horizons are part of one package, but you can select what you want to start from the launcher.
We don’t know for sure yet, but in Odyssey you could get out and push or lever the SRV out.
You may be albe to free your SRV by retracting your cargo scoop if its out.... then boost away...just a thought...Hope it helps.
The cargo scoop is not a physical scoop in the SRV - have a look, you will see nowt protruding.
