Newcomer / Intro SRV stuck - what can you do these days?

Easy-peasey solution back in the old days but I’ve no idea what to do now. Is there a quick solution or is this a new issue with the loss of plain old Elite (non-Horizons,) maybe there are SRV Rats now?

It’s been a while since I used my SRV, it’s been a while since I had a chance to play, and after whacking into a Brain Tree I’m stuck and can’t shift it at all. I’ve re logged between both Oddy and Horizons Live but that hasn’t helped - should I just walk dejectedly back to my ship and leave the SRV behind?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if this has been addressed before, I only found reference to the issue before the ‘Great Switch,’ though did seem to remember a reference somewhere some months back, which I can’t find.

Main menu -> get unstuck (or somesuch), that'll respawn you in your ship in a safe orbit. No idea whether you'll lose your SRV, though.

live dangerous self destruct if you are close to a large station or fleet carrier that lets you on/ or log out to elite dangerous then back to od.horizons. most you can lose is youre srv.

In the Main Menu goto Help and Info/Stuck Recovery. It is designed specifically for issues like this.
