SRV turret control QoL improvements. (Suggestion)

Would it be possible to be able to get an option to set the SRV turret to yaw relative to the SRV chassis instead of the world. And maybe an another option to set it to gradually auto center when the SRV has significant amount of throttle and the turret hasn't received input in a while.

Pretty much every modern combat driving game and GTA-like has the default yaw controls for aiming guns while driving be relative to the vehicle instead of the world and/or gradual auto centering when moving.

My current fighting tactic in an SRV basically consists of putting everything in shields/guns, relying on the slow turret auto-aim, not using the manual turret at all and forward-reverse yo-yoing at the edge of the enemy range depending on how much shields I have left, which is slow, wastes ammo and is not fun at all.

But fighting against ingrained muscle-memory from other games is even less fun and I prefer seeing where I'm going when I maneuver to seeing where my enemies are while in combat.

If I could set my turret rotation to be relative to the SRV chassis, I could manually limit my aim to the arcs where I can still see where I'm going without having to constantly fight my muscle memory and the turret controls to keep track where my SRV is pointing. And if I spin out, I'd lose track of the enemy position instead of my own orientation, which I would personally prefer.

Similarly, if I could toggle my turret to auto center, I could just throttle up if I lose track of my own orientation while fighting and rely on the auto centering to eventually rotate the turret to point towards where I'm going.

And just to pre-empt any "my immersion" arguments, if the SRV turret is smart enough to auto-aim at enemies when you're not controlling it, it should obviously be smart enough to be able to provide the pilot a limited amount of aim-assist like this even when under direct control.

I've been asking for this since 2.0...

And I'm still trying to understand how they came to the conclusion that using an absolutely uncommon way for turret <-> vehicle relation is the way to go, aka act relative to the horizon for one axis, relative to the vehicle on another.

I could use a mouse and keyboard to drive and shoot at the same time, but OH MY GOD, impossible with a thruster and stick.
Which throws a question in my mind I haven't even thought about yet: is the described nonsense a controller only issue?

Gotta check that as I think unlike the ship I had the SRV hybrid bound so I could in theory use it with KBM too.

Edit: surprisingly it's not, the mouse is also horizon aligned, so I'm really at a loss how this is an issue to so few people.
Or most of them just don't care at all and the ones who at this point used it heavily are beyond caring too because they got somehow used to it, and the only ones left complaining about the unintuitivity are us few who can't and don't WANT to get used to it :x
