Been away from Elite for three years. Lots of dcumentation seems to have been lost. Frontier used to post a very comprehensive guide, which I cannot find any more, and loads of other stuff was available. I had saved some of it. I saw a post today asking what the hell the wave scanner waveforms mean. I don't guarantee that these are unchanged in the last three years, and I don't claim credit for generating these charts, but here is something from a few years ago which may (or may not help).
