Apparently it works on Linux. Someone has used it on Linux, as I had to make some UI changes for it to show properly.
Mind you, it's due for a complete rewrite if I ever get the time.

I don't mind something that simply shows me some text indicating the direction to a point on my second monitor though.
Yes, pretty sure that's what it was running on (same as E: D, presumably).
I'm not sure how to run your overlay but I used some of your math to work out bearings and I have quite a useful little console app that dumps out directions for me now, so thanks a lot!
Being able to fire a locater onto the planet surface from either the ship or SRV would be really nice. Lots of handy uses.
