I know there are a few props to the sound team threads already out there, however, I wanted my own personal Thank You and a job WELL DONE! post.

To the Sound Team,

Thank You for the absolutely amazing sounds within the Elite galaxy. From the soundscape's of the planets, the sound of the stars, the personal life giving uniqueness of the ship engines to the simple rumble of the galaxy. It is ALL very, very well done! The creative efforts and well thought out sound design's cannot be understated as the sounds in this type of game can make or break it because the sounds give it life, atmosphere, and immersion, and well frankly, it's own unique personality.

You should all take a bow, feel proud of your accomplishments and have a few bottle's of champagne on Micheal's company card..

I second this, lots of very subtle sounds thrown in here, truly need headphones to hear all of it.

Yes, since I started wearing headphones to play (needed something to stick the EdTracker on) it's been a real eye, um I mean ear opener. Lots of subtle ship noises, station ambieance etc - I swear my berth was situated next to the station's nightclub the other day - on techno night.
