Star Grind, Episode 3: Errand of Futility

The plan was to pump out one of these episodes once every three months, but given events in the Pleiades, I just couldn't resist getting this one out now.

So, here's episode #3, two months early. Enjoy, if you're able. And, if you think it's all just a pile of steaming Thargoid poo? Well, just keep it civil, commander. ;)

Excellent. From the title I thought this was going to be a bitter, sarcastic dig at the game's shortcomings. Instead it was a clever, respectful dig at the game's shortcomings. A definite +1.

lol, VERY good. Many nails hit home with humour. Loved the other two as well.

LOL! Classic!

And the out of cargo space! ANOTHER CLASSIC! I've fallen foul to that one! The game doesn't even tell you if I recall... You just can't hand the passenger mission in!

Thank you, glad everyone enjoyed it.

I was kinda worried this one wasn't going to be that good. Then I got the idea of making it about Jones' temper. That bit had me laughing pretty hard.

It's funny 'cause it's true! ;) Well, mostly true. On my second rescue mission, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't load as many as the first trip. Decided then I needed to load more passenger compartments and only then discovered that I had passengers stuck on board because of no storage. Had to cancel the contract only to get the message "just drop us off at the nearest station!" Oi! "Just get off, you bozos!" :D

Now, that's a high compliment indeed. Thank you very much. And, yea, that's one of my major goals with this goofy series: what if this were "real world". There's plenty of in-game logic that just doesn't add up correctly. :)
