Star in the name of my grandma.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma, and I hope your request is granted.

So it would seem to be true:
When cruel birth debases, we forget
When cruel death debases
We believe it erases all the rest
That precedes

But stand brave, life-liver
Bleeding out your days in the river
Of time - stand brave:
Time moves both ways

- Joanna Newsom

Sorry for your loss, I support the naming of a star after her. It's not like they have a very limited supply of them so they should let you pick a really good one.

I heard Frontier can make star in game in name of some person who died? Yesterday died my grandmother. She were only person i know. I mean i have no parents except her. She helped me till my 25 and i returned at my 30 to live with her for last 5 years to help her. Now i am 35 and she died 90 years old. She spend all her life to help me. Without her i could be lost long time ago... I dont know why i am writing this but.. Well.. I would be happy to see star called Livija in-game. Is it possible and what are rules for that?

Drop us an email to community@frontier.co.uk and make this for the attention of both myself and Paige, and we'll speak to you directly through email about what's possible and the process to go about this. :)

One thing that could be looked into, is making it possible for people with first discovered by on an entire system to name the system (within reason of course). That way instead of for example having been the discoverer of some seemingly randomly generated name system, InDigital could be tagged as the discoverer of Livija and its other stars and planets.

Livija is a beautiful name for a star.

My eldest daughter is named after a woman from Greek myth, Alcyone (pron. Al-key-on-ee, Halcyon in English, Αλκυόνη in Greek), so she already has a star in reality and in the game, the lucky thing. :)
