Just wait. I bet they will expand it by a bit in the future. Not exactly soon, but I have a feeling they will. Unless they plan on having an underwhelming Panther Clipper...

I remember reading something about mail slot being that small. It had something to do with long range sniping protection. With big entry gap it'd be easy to align with it beyond no fire zone, launch rocket or a lot of them and observe the hilarity/chaos spread. So small mail slots were made small on purpose. Not that I would mind them bit bigger. It's funny how my prox lights go off in my Asp...

Not to mention Anaconda.

I do not think they will expand the slot.
I hope they will add cool a new external docking system for a new class of Panther Clipper sized ships.

stage 1 : docking Panther Clipper outside the station
stage 2 : deploy SLF and proceed to dock inside the station
stage 3 : minding my business in the station and buying few groceries for the jumps
stage 4 : asking permission to take off to fly back to the Panther Clipper
stage 5 : wake up !

I was multicrewing with my T10 the first day I had it operational. A shout of "It's not going to fit!" really isn't what you want to hear when undocking.

Panther Clipper: I want a Transporter module that undocks from the Clipper body to enter the station, carrying a small part of its cargo each time and bringing new cargo and fuel back. :p

I would also like Traffic Control to start doing their job, so that when they give you clearance you can know that there won't be a T10 coming the other way.

So far I didn't have a problem getting my T10 through the slot. That stupid spoiler is a bit meh, but if you keep it in mind and leave a bit more room above you than below it's just fine.

I always have 5-10% damage to the hull since i dont have shields and coz i drive my T10 like an eagle lol. Its not a big deal repairing since im hauling 788t of gold. I just have to hold my breath through the process then breath afterward xD

+1 for this. I'd love to hear "Departure request received. Please hold for traffic on approach....Ok, you're clear to proceed" etc. Just being told to watch the greens on the way out is a lazy way of saying "Oh just do my job yourself. I'm having coffee right now."

788 tonnes of cargo in a T-10? I wish! The T9 & T-10 have plenty of room to spare in the access corridor, my T9 G5 clean engineered only does 140m/s, definitely don't fly it like an Imperial Eagle, more like a Kenworth Truck going uphill..
