There are plenty of other programs out there for that purpose. Don't think being able to view artificial pictograms in space are really needed and would only be recognisable from the vicinity of Sol anyway, so a bit pointless really.

Well isn't it viewable in the direction from Earth to space, so you don't have to be near Earth?

I agree with Magic Man, this is rather pointless to have cluttering my galaxy map.

When/if system bookmarking comes out, bookmark all the systems involved and take a screen shot. That would be kind of cool.

That is as viewed from the Earth. Anywhere else in the galaxy and those alignments are going to be different so any constellations become unrecognisable and therefore pointless.

Yeah I suppose it'll look different when viewed from e.g. Mars. Nevermind then move along.

It works when viewed near Earth. Other option is make your own constellation, but it's gimmicky.
