I stumbled across this little gem after reading a post by Yure last week where he was asking if anyone had played the mobile Star traders game, well it turns out that the same developers have bought out a new game on Steam on early access.

Ive been playing it for the past few days, very addictive and easily worth the £11.39 price tag.
It feels like a mix of ideas from several different games, the game world and political landscape plays out like Mount and blade, the trading and ship management like old school Elite and the ground combat like Darkest Dungeon.
Initially I was a little put off by the cartoony style graphics of the crew, I would prefer a more realistic look, but it certainly doesnt take away from the gameplay, there is a surprising amount of depth to the game, lots of choice.
The wiki is worth a look - https://startraders.gamepedia.com/Star_Traders_Wiki
Anyone else playing this?
