Star Trek Bridge Crew

Has anyone else tried this? I just got out my first game and I'm really really really impressed with the thing. Being able to fail at the Kobyashi Maru or whatever was kind of fun.

The control schemes are a bit sticky if you're using an xbox controller and not the controller thingies, but once you're used to it it's a really fun game.

Im unsure if it is even playable solo or if I need other people.

A VR version of the old Bridge commander could be cool.

I played this with 2 friends in VR it was a great laugh but I'm waiting to get the CV1 before we play again as I'm on an old DK2 with controller and my friend was on the Vive, it was so funny watching his arms swing around, I really hope Multi Crew on ED get's interaction like this some day.

Is there ANY single player possibility to give commands to crew?

Interested to know what the longevity of this game is like? ie: After 3-4hrs do you feel like you've "done it"?

Yes you can give commands to the crew. I played it SP and I enjoyed myself.

I did the tutorial and the first mission and I was REALLY impressed. I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to feel about it after getting through it though.

A small group will play it, but not in great numbers, to have a game that is lasting, you will need it to be a great SP too.

I just had my first go at this in VR with the oculus touch and it is just amazing!

After 5 minutes in the tutorial, unfinished, I just jumpd into a quick random game and joined crew with 3 scottish guys that were drunk or worse (2-3 am here), and the result was hilarious. 10/10 would be destroyed by Klingons again.

Yup, it's neat game I tend to play Solo unless someone(s) I know is on and want to play. Playing with 4 random peoples can be fun, absolutely, but if you want to play a little bit serious as to functioning as a team and completing missions it plays a lot better with friendlies

This is what Multicrew in Elite Dangerous should be like. Multiple distinct roles where players cooperate as a team.
