Star Troubles

Hi Guys

Its only a small complaint but,
When I leave hyperdrive I'm heading head first into a star with very little time to pull away and due to loading times hyperdive travel time vary and can catch people off guard. (not nice when your changing song on a playlist)

I know that I can decrease my speed to 30m/s with a quick select but
Wouldn't it be easier to point us just off center?

I don't like the sound of coming in sideways, if your going afk then zero the throttle once the countdown starts.

When driving a car for hours on a motorway. Just straight on. You grap your newspaper and begin to read?
I think no, you are riding a high tech machine that is to be kept under control, so you have to stay tuned.

The current setup is forgiving enough already. It can be made much harder.

Miklos

I understand what your saying but what I do isn't the equivalent of a newspaper, when driving down a motorway that I have no control of. I adjust my radio to a different station, when a large deer jumps in the road.

but like I said doesn't majorly bother me just wanted to know peoples options

Like the others said above, i just set my throttle to zero as soon as the countdown starts, it avoids any troubles when you come out of your jump.

Setting throttle to zero on countdown (or in witchspace) is mandatory, however sometimes there is a short hiccup on exit (probably a network glitch) which may bring you closer to the star than you may wish. Can be a bit nasty with supergiants, white and brown dvarves.
