I was actually looking forward to this thinking that they'd upgraded X-wing vs Tie Fighter.

Unfortunatly I won't be playing because ;-

  1. It's a browser based game.
  2. 3rd person view.
  3. mouse only control

It kind of reminds me of the starfighter game they put in the Old Republic (which after seeing that, I cancelled my subscription).

I have a load of closed beta keys if anybody wants them. Drop me a PM and I'll send it to you.

(Although I admit I'm not selling it that well :p but you might want to make your own mind up.)

I got the email invite to play beta too but the homepage to log in wouldn't work on Firefox even after I turned off my security and it didn't work in IE in which I have no extra security, so i deleted the email.

Starfox64 had a nice multiplayer mode where you could do loops and u-turns, with quick banks to the left and right, similar to Rogue Squadron in handling and maneuvering. I wonder if it will play anything like those games, though I'm sure anyone on the beta probably can't talk about it, so what do I know?
