Roller Coasters Star Wars Rogue Squadron dark coaster

All the starship models uploaded to Steam Workshop inspired me to use this coaster. Even using other people's models, this took me FOREVER to finish. Too many pieces to create a blueprint to share, but I thought I'd post the ride video for people's enjoyment:

WOW, very nicely done! The stars, the ships, the ride as if you were fighting a Star Wars battle with the track totally invisible most of the time, and all the triggers as if you're firing shots and being shot at. Bravo!

Why is skywalker so cool?

Because he is LUKEWARM at best!

I came up with that a few days ago.
Multi-way puns are the best. [haha]

Anyways good job, looks fantastic!

Well thanks :)
Though as I said in the OP, the ships are other people's creations I downloaded off the steamworkshop (with minor modifications). I'll happily take credit for the rest, though :)

WOW - amazing! Really great work! You did an amazing job there, and I can imagine how much time this took!
Keep up the great work!

so cool amazing job! how do you make that!? is it underground building?

Yes. I started by building a pit that went all the way down to the very deepest depth possible in the game, then flattened to foundation to make an enormous cavern that nearly fills the entire available park space. I built the rollercoaster first, played with it until I got the 7e/4f/2n coaster rating sweetspot I usually go for, and then placed the scenery around it.

love it - very nice. are all those stars individual lights you placed?

Yes. I use the non-blinking straight strand of fairly lights with the color changed to white, and sink them down into a black smooth concrete wall or roof piece until only one light is visible. I made a 10x10 tile blue print with a scattering of "stars", then placed and rotated them all over the edged of the cavern, as well as placing them as barriers in some parts of the ride that I didn't want visible from other parts of the ride.

Dude! It's great to see someone is using my ship models for this kind of things [haha]. Really nice! The ride is great and your work with the triggers is awesome.

I very much enjoyed it, thanks for sharing!

Yeah man, lord knows how many more tens of hours it would've taken me if I had to create all the ships from scratch, too! Glad you like it!
