Starship Avalon to start it´s Exploration Journey

Hello Fellow Commanders,

The Starship Avalon is in the final preperations for a long term expedition. Every willing Commander is welcome to join the expedition and explore along the way. A List of the first Destinations is shown below. The general direction will be the colonia region, Sag A* and in the long run I´m willing to take the Starship all the way to Beagle point (but this will take a while).

The first Jump will take Place at the 22nd of Oktober 2020 at 18:00 in-game time from the Toolfa System.
To get more details about when an where exactly the first jump will take place please feel free to follow the Discord Channel in the Fleet Carrier owners club. Link to Channel (#233-starship-avalon_flandaas) is posted below (They are valid for 24 hours and I try to keep the link updated. If it´s invalid please contact me and I will send you another one).

Since I can´t be in game every single day you are best to follow the discord channel bacause every announcement of an upcoming jump will automatically take place in there.
You are also welcome to add me as a friend ingame (PC).

The Starship will visit the following destinations (more destinations after those will be announced on the mentioned discord server):

  2. - TYC 3319-306-1 (Helios Rock Garden)
  3. - LBN 623 Sector PD-S b4-5 (LBN 623 Nebula)
  4. - HIP 102082 (Carbon Star)
  5. - Alpha Cygni (Brightest Star in Cygnus)
  6. - BD+50 2869 (Blinking Nebula)
  7. - Csi+19-20201 (Blue Flash Nebula)
  8. - Chraufao HQ-G d10-120 (Persephone´s hidden gem)
  9. - PSR J1959+2048 (Black Widow Pulsar)
  10. - NGC 6830 Sector BA-A g2 (NGC 6830 open Cluster)
  11. - Smojoo ZE-R d4-109 (Musica Universalis)
  12. - IRAS 19581+0135 (Green Nebula)
  13. - Csi+09-19291 (NGC 6804 Nebula)
Those 13 first destinations are farely close to the bubble. Every Commander who wants to join at a later time is welcome to do so. If you join the discord channel you can leave a note of your approximate arrival time and the starship will wait for you!

You are also very welcome to give suggestions on POI´s to visit!

The Starship Avalon will provide Commanders with the following services along it´s journey:
  • Commodoty market (mostly Tritium if in need, other mined materials possible if requested)
  • Refuelling
  • Repair Service
  • Rearming
  • Universal Cartographics
  • Shipyard (only for storing ships [e.g. mining ships for Tritium Ops], no ships available to buy)

These Services are free of charge. The shipyard will be suspended shortly after the first jump on the 22nd and only reactivated if requested or needed (e.g. for Tritium Operations)

The Journey is set to start on the 22nd oktober at 18:00 GMT from the Toolfa System.

There will be Shipyard service available until the first jump took place so fellow explorers can bring for example a mining ship to support the carrier. After the first jump the shipyard will be suspended and it will only be available upon request or if it´s needed.

The first POI´s are all rather near the bubble so Commanders can join later. If requested the carrier will wait at a certain POI until the CMDR in question arrived :)

The Starship Avalonis currently visiting POI´s around the Sadr region.
We will be leaving that region and the general surroundings of the bubble soon.

We will reach and make a stop at the System "Sadr" at the 5th of November (19:00 in-game) and will continue our journey at the 7th of November. This stop is planned, so that commanders can catch up and dock at the carrier. The Sadr System is about 2000ly from SOL so it´s an easy access point for everyone to join.

If you want to join earlier or catch up at a later point, feel free to send me a DM for more information.
We got our own Channel in the Fleet Carrier Owners Club Discord where every jump will be announced and where we share our exploration adventures.

Everyone is welcome to join the Discord and bring their friends.
I won´t post a link to the discord though, since they are only valid for 24 hours. Send me a short DM and I will provide you with a link to join.
