Newcomer / Intro Started game but lost cursor and when I launch nothing hapens

Not got off to a good start. At the beginning. Being asked to Lanch. not got a cursor and if I use arrow keys and select Auto Launch it top right panel just says TO [LOCAL] : Select Type of message.

Totaly stuck.

You presed enter - it opens the comms text typing box by default. Use the space bar to make your menu selections.

BTW - your mouse cursor is only active in station services menus and maps - all other menu selections are made using keys or hats and fire buttons (depends what you set in options / controls) - defaults are Q and E to move left and right in tabs - W and S to move up and down in menus and A and D to move left and right in selections / pages - space bar for "select".

(Drove me mad at first as I was used to click-able cockpits in flight sims.)
