starter pack??

i just downloaded gamma 1 and i have a the stock starting position even though i pledged £100 in premium beta i thought i would have more starting position ??

same i have 2 sideys 100 and 500 cr.

the 500 cr option has an eagle parked in a system though

not sure if that was all that was in premium beta..

I was a prem beta from the KS and I have the expected starting options. Was your prem beta post the KS because I think the start position options didn't come with that option.

yes I am a bit confused too.

As a Beta backer I get the eagle right? But I only got one 'package', and that just says sidewinder and 100cr - does this include the Eagle but just not mention it in the package description?

Your Eagle will be parked at a station near your starting position. If you look on the starting system's system map it will show you which station.

Did you not get a choice at the start screen? I chose zero perks I think but I was that eager and I pressed that quick I didnt read it properly.

I got no choice whatsoever. I assume the eagle is there just not mentioned? will ckeck when the server is back up. thanks

Did you not get a select commander option right at the start? I think there was where you chose your starter pack.

there was a window which said 'select your package' and there was only one package, which said Sidewinder and 100cr???

have you got the game and did you get a different option? thanks

ah okay. so premium beta only has std. and eagle. I can live with that though. I wanted to work towards my goals anyway. not touching that eagle ^^

yes, just managed to log in to game and confirm

I have an eagle, somewhere in the system I am at, but there are at least 2 other shipyards I have not visited yet!

So yes, only one option on start game and the Eagle is not mentioned in the package but it IS in game.

I have a few cobras, a few sidewinders and few eagles. Kickstarter DDF backer.

But I am going to start with a sidewinder with 100 credits.

I had three KS: options along with 2 new commander, a pirate and something else. I chose KS:trader but will I still get the other ships from the other KS tiers or do I only get the one "free"?

haven't had a chance to get in to check anything out yet as my 'net was down all morning & I'm headed to bed (work graveyards :( )

I am confused by this as well. I missed the Kickstarter and purchased the beta afterwards. The newsletters keep mentioning the mercenary pack and the ability to get the Eagle when the game launches.

How do I tell what level I am at, and whether or not I have the mercenary pack?

[Note to Devs: It looks like a lot of people are confused about this. It would be great if you could put a form field on the main menu that tells people what their backer / game level is.]

No, they are going to be available. As in the Kickstarter etc mentioned 25 ships. Release should have 30. But you might have (as in will have) to work your way to them.

As to starting positions, I'm a premium beta backer. My "promised" Eagle, was docked at a different station in the system I started in.
