Family friendly forum, guys. :) Picture removed. (I know...I'm a killjoy, lol. Rulz is rulz)

LMAO it’s a real picture! Yup LOL ladies and gentlemen prepare your backdoor, Santa is coming and heeee is excited!

:D

The local council what 'volunteer' Street Snow cleaners. Normally work like that is given to people on Asbos . But hey it for the community. And the council doesn't have any money to spend even though loots of council tax is paid.

It really feels like living in the Empire. Slaves are common place.

The Express is an odious paper. The Daily Sport had more journalistic integrity. Blanket of snow indeed... pfft a light scattering of the stuff. It's about this time of year they normally show a picture from 7 years ago.

I love driving in the snow...me and the wee lady in the tescos car park doing donuts in the car and throwing snowballs at the lines of people outside the church...so much fun. I remember couple years ago we thought its be a cool idea to build a snowman in the middle of the main road...yep we built that sucker well over ten feet tall caused an almighty traffic jam the next day.

I remember when we were kids we used to tie bungees around the rear bull bars on lorries, then hide behind them so they dont see ye...they wont drive if we were there some bollox bout it not being safe or some boring stuff like that...then we got a free slide on the icy roads sometimes upto 40mph if ye had the bottle to stay on...flat soled school shoes were the best if ye sanded down the soles. The old metal trays ye used to get always made the best sleighs...controls were a bit on the ropey side but one made do with the tools one had. We didnt have any money or nice things so we made our own entertainment ^

Ye only it wasnt the cobbled streets of yorkshire, it was the landmines and craters of belfast...actually they were just potholes but ye know kids imaginations.

We were so behind the rest of the world that once a month we still held illegal street racing...using horse and trap. The pikeys in England still do in some places but gypsy culture was stronger here and trap racing was quite common before the peelers got smarter...shame, I do miss the old ways ^

Actually do ye remember those old hovis biscuits ye used to get years ago? Even shaped like an old style loaf...they still make those?

That will please my kids.
They were complaining that they've not seen "proper" snow. That means snow you can have snowball fights and make snowmen with.
I've got Friday off work anyway so if it snows, I'll be out there being a big kid.

I guess the UK is in for a sticky situation...

I was getting hopeful for a good sticky situation, but I've looked at the local forecast and it's sun tomorrow. Say what now?

So unfortunately, this "warning" would appear to be yet another one puffing its chest up and promising to give us a good shafting, but ultimately being unable to perform at all in the moment.

On a school skiing trip it was possible to get sunstroke and hyperthermia at the same time. Due to the high altitude the clouds would cast 'shadows on the snow'

Yay for snow!

Roads will be in chaos, trains will stop running, planes grounded.
All because of fluffy water.

I work as a delivery driver in a completely useless RWD automatic van. Lol

If I end up in a ditch, hopefully I have signal so I can boot up the potato laptop, keep myself warm with it, and play games until I'm rescued. Lol
Then I'll claim I'm injured and stay off work to play in the snow.

Assuming Shropshire gets any snow.
It probably won't. It's crap like that.

Lol
