Since commodity supplies and demand are completely static since one month on this very famous trade route here we go :

GLIESE 868 /// BRAUN STATION (about 50Ls) :
- Buy : Gold or Palla (usually gold is a bit better)
- Sell : Progenitor Cells or Consumer Tech (both good very little change) >>> profit 1350 cr/t

WW PISCIS AUSTRINI /// IVINS VISION (about 6Ls) :
- Sell : Gold or Palla (usually gold is a bit better) >>> profit 1500 cr/t
- Buy : Progenitor Cells or Consumer Tech (both good very little change)

With 216t it s 600.000cr for a round trip of 13mn
Pirates also welcome for sure (atm 2700 ships per day in Gliese)

Well done, expect the profit each way to be cut by 500-600 credits per, once more traders turn up. My last route was killed over night after mentioning it in chat over on a twitch stream.

It s about 33 Ly, it s been one month this route has static price even whil it has 2700 ship crossing it, i m pretty sure it s completely bugged, but only way to be absolutely sure is to share it

Thank you for posting this! Also -- routes like this are great for new players. But they aren't all that hard to find if you've been here a while. So -- hey -- nice gesture! :}

Can you tell me what is a hard find trade route and what is the most profitable you found (Cr + distance from stars and jump range)

Interesting experiment, please do report back what happens to the trade route over the coming days.

My own route also has a more or less static "supply" and demand for quite a while, though tbh there is one other CMDR i see regularly on it and I get the feeling he/she is doing it much more than I am. of course maybe we are just on a very similar schedule in terms of playing after kids are gone to bed, with similar bedtimes.

I am in T9 and the other CMDR in a Python, no sign of any change in the route at all. Same price every trade, except every now and again buy price increases by about 100cr on one leg of the route only.

I was running several different return trips from Gliese 868 last week, good profits. Prices were stable but the OP might have triggered a sudden shift :)

I'll head over tonight if I can and see if I can swing the market down a bit. I've been wondering lately if they did something to change the background sim in such a way that supply/demand and commodity prices won't degrade past a certain point

On my side highest change i have seen is about 250cr per t on both way but never at the same time and it was very rare
--- until now profit for a 216T is mostly :

BAD TIMES (i ll be more precise once i have a bad time) :
- about: 290 000cr/216t ::: (gold) (Let be pessimistic and say it happen 1/4 of time )
- about: 250 000cr/216t ::: (pro cell or consu tech)

NORMAL TIMES :
- 324 000cr/216t ::: 1500cr/t (gold)
- 1300cr/t (cons tech or pro cell)

---- 2700 ships/day on "GLIESE 868" & 1600 ships/day on "WW PISCI AUSTRINI" ----

Actually it is strange - when the purchase price on one leg goes up for me (reducing the profit when sold) it generally (not always) also involves an increase from about 1150 to 1257 on the other leg.

My route does not have stellar profit margins - only 1800 Cr/ton for the round trip (not one way), but it is very quick - one jump and both stations are within 40ls of the star, so decent credit/ton/hour.

Im sure you have some decent alternatives.

I might do this, not too bad of a jump between the two. I was doing a Luxuries route but it's considered "smuggling" so it doesn't count towards my trade profit and want to get the next rank.

I can only assume they need all that gold for a giant gold deathstar.

Initially I was a bit annoyed but in reality, nothing was different really. Saw some new commanders about which was nice. Anyhow, pirates feel free to cause havoc, I'm done with trading for now ;) Time to mothball the T9 and go and explore the galaxy.

Nice job getting it done. From the guy that nearly tackled you in the envelope. ;)

I wondered why I saw a few more faces out there tonight. No pirates though, at least none that want to go after an armed clipper anyway.
