They are "fixing" normal routes, but not the seeking luxery stuff? Thats strange... ^^

That is certainly what logic dictates.HOWEVER, given the fix, If you've been contributing data to crowd sourced trade tools, STOP.
This will also fix luxury trading. As soon as the "thundering herd" shows up, the station will no longer be able to sustain the supply.

Looks like something happened in the patch today. I wouldn't be surprised if this drop isn't happening everywhere.
All of my trade routes have been nuked,
It's not just ones that have been posted here.
No profit to be made in trading anymore.
A very very stupid move by FD if you ask me, I spent the last month establishing trade routes... all for what? for them to get nuked in one go?
Stupid Stupid Stupid FD!

Last time they messed up trading I mostly flew combat until they fixed it.
This time it's two birds with one stone; I get to play combat, in a combat python (pre-sledgehammer) and then see what happens after the next patch![]()
Yeah... but that was not my game plan at all.... I was saving up for my type 9 heavy.... now looks like I have to switch to bounty hunting in a Viper, since i don't want to spend loads of my money that I honestly worked so hard to earn!
Peace,

Its not like you can do anything with that type 9 now lol....and bounty hunting is getting nerfed in 1.1 as well....no more unlimited spawns, anywhere.
I popped in to check out my old route. It was out of the way and not heavily traded. I left it to go make 60 million on luxuries trading. Went back this evening. It seems fine.
I guess the fix is that lots of commanders pounding the same route will use up the supply. which is as it should be. now we can go back to finding our own routes and moving on from them if they get used up. Makes the game more interesting.
Good luck with that.... You will need a few pens and a stack of paper....

I don't see how that's a bad thing. But I'm old school enough to remember playing Wizardry and having TONS of sheets of graph paper maps everywhere.
I started trading with a notebook and finally pulled out my laptop and keep a spreadsheet open with all the commodities, and just add stations when I find good stuff.
I think it's fun, adds to the immersion that I'm doing something for something.
Call me crazy.
And I played AD&D.... but this is 2015!
