Newcomer / Intro Station and some ships now show up in green on my radar... why?

I'm sure I'm incredibly stupid for not knowing this, but recently my "home" station, which is one end of my regular trading run, is showing up green in my radar, as are some of the local security force's ships patrolling it. What does this mean? Does it show that these ships are nominally friendly to me now that I've been doing a lot of trade at this station, or something else?

D'oh, I've just seen the answer in the very next thread. It is indeed because they're friendly to me. Sorry for wasting everybody's time!

Indeed it does!
You have become friendly with that faction.

Once you hit allied, you will also see their stats immediately without scanning (meaning clean/wanted, what faction they belong to/...).

You are their new best friend. You'll also find that now when you dock the Station will say "Greetings, Commander" instead of "Pilot, be about yer business quickly and then get lost".

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time I read it.

It gets better once they started to greet thou by "Wecome home, respected ally" :)
