Station Announcements out of order

Has anyone else noticed this? I'm really seeking assurance that it's not a problem at my end (PC). The station announcements don't fit with docking computer action. This has been wrong before, was fixed until the last update, then went wrong again. I've logged in the Issue Tracker here but no-one else has commented: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/1728

When docking with docking computer the sequence is now:
1. Arrive at station.
2. Station announcer gives welcome message.
3. Request docking. Pad number is displayed.
4. Approach station.
5. Set throttle to zero.
6. Station announcer gives allocated pad number.
7. Station announcer says automated docking is approved.

The audio message at 6 should be given after 3, at the same time as the pad number is displayed.
The audio message at 7 is correct.

Trivial but immersion-breaking.

The issue has already been raised on the issue tracker, but I don't believe it has yet come up for voting. This is another case where the issue tracker, or the team responsible for monitoring it, should merge duplicate reports.

I've noticed that I often seem to get a "reduce your speed!" message, even if I'm not speeding.

At first I thought that, perhaps, the game cued the message up while I was going >100m/s but, due to the other "welcome" messages, it only got a chance to play it after I'd slowed down.
Tried doing all my approach at <100m/s and I still get a "speeding" message at least half the time.

Seems like, perhaps, something is a bit broken.

I notice that I never seem to get a "speeding" message when I dock using the DC.
Dunno if that's just cos the DC negates everything to do with speeding or if, perhaps, something to do with the new DC is responsible for the spurious "speeding" messages.

Incidentally, I like the new DC 'cos it means I have chance to plot my course while I'm leaving the station. (y)

This started with the April Update, I reported it then (April 24th), had several confirmations, since then it is ignored. Will probably remain so until 2022 or so. Then it will break in other ways...

Bug-Report for Docking Messages

Maybe you will add to it? Or not, as you like, I fear it will change nothing...

Huh. "The issue could not be loaded". I'll try again later.

It's really frustrating that bugs which have been previously fixed come back again. Something is very wrong with the software configuration management.

<Edit> Managed to add my comment now.

What catches me out regularly is the message "welcome Cmdr, we have prepared a landing pad for your arrival".

Followed by "access denied" due to being 8KM away / busy station. :/

Which incurs a question - why can't I ask for a landing clearance at range 7.5+ KM? ATC surely has me on radar, they can contact me with usual greeting but can't accept landing request?

"Oh, you want to land? I hear ya, but NOPE. Must come closer."
I guess one of another weird thing I don't get.

I think something that might help is if some announcements were skipped if you'd already past the appropriate point. It seems to continue on with script even if you've applied for landing and engages docking computer, or are already boosting into the letterbox.
I wonder if you can land before it tells you off for speeding? 😅
