I've seen a number of new players commenting that the station entrance is tricky to find on a coriolis station.
I saw a forum post months ago during the beta that had a diagram on it to aid finding the entrance. I tried it then and it worked.
I still use the technique now some 4 months later.

Also, the hologram of the station on your dashboard has arrows on several sides pointing to the entrance

Another tip to approach "right in front of the door" (more or less):
The entrance of most of the stations points to the planet. So, popping out from supercruise between planet and station brings you near the entrance.

And they always rotate anticlockwise. And the back has red lights. Good clues!

Also, the entrance side is the one with ships around it. So, if your HUD sows the station and there are some ships cluster to one side of the icon...that's the side where the entrance is located.
