Newcomer / Intro Station building question

Hi all,

Just a quick question. If I build a station in solo or private group, will it work the same when jumping to open?
Might be quite obvious but I'm just getting into this and not sure if there are any restrictions depending on which game mode I play in...

A station works the same regardless of mode.
