Newcomer / Intro Station coloured in green on my radar

on the left side of the cockpit (where the hologram of what you are targetting appears) i had a station appear in green instead of the normal orange.
what does that mean?

(also all the markers on my minimap/radar, when in the station were also green)

Green = friendly (allies)

On radar:

Green : friends / allies
Orange : indifferent
Red : hostile
Flashing red : hostile & shooting at you
White : cargo / wakes / incidentals

Square : weapons stowed
Triangle : weapons out

Hollow shape : real player
Solid shape : npc

Yeah it's based in your reputation with that station owner's faction.

EDIT: I don't, know what it would be if your rep with that faction isn't showing as friendly though.

has to be - have you been doing missions and returning to the same station ?

It may mean the station is made of snot.

On the other hand, it's a friendly system. Do enough missions and it happens to us all - to make a station made of snot you'd have to have a planet of very ill people who all blow their noses at the same time while following some kind of blueprint. Given how hard it is to herd cats, I doubt if a mucus station would ever happen.

It could mean that station is occupied by Thargoids...or that station is friendly or allied to you...or that Thargoids are pretending to be friendly in order to lure you into a trap...
