Station Interior space calculations

So I spent way too much time on this, but I wanted to figure out probable internal area for habitiation inside the larger rotating stations.
I did make some assumptions, namely that for this calculation, the station is a cylinder 3 km long, with a radius of 2km. The dock area is assumed to be 1500m long and 300m in radius, and an equal area is set aside as a low g area. I also took factory area height as 12.5m, so 8 factory floors can exist in each 100 layer, but residential areas are by layers of 100m. (I'm assuming residential areas are generally multi-story complexes of around 20 floors, with artificial parklands interspersed (as imagined in the Mass Effect universe's Citadel Presidium)

Total residential land area 183.825Mm^2

Total all up: 320.025Mm^2
Doubling length of station to 3km: 640.05Mm^2
64005 ha or 640.05 km^2

So, given the total land area of 640.05km2
At population density of Melbourne (my home town) (1500): 960,075 residents
At population density of New York (2050): 1,312,102 residents
At population density of Tokyo (4750): 3,040,237 residents

If calculating for just the residential area, I think it would be appropriate to use the population density for somewhere like Hong Kong (6544): 1,202,950.8
This means very densely packed residential areas, leaving factory spaces to be largely robotic, and not contribute to overall density.

A per-station population of 1.2 million on average, with potential variation to up to double that.
Now, I'm wondering if it would be possible to build something like these stations given today's engineering technology and unlimited money.

My assumptions were pretty broad, I think the Coriolis stations might be close to the size I calculated for, but the Orbis and Occelius would be way off, (and variable construction, too)
That said, I might find some systems with no inhabited planets, only stations and see if they line up.
