Station on Fire and Thargoid Ship with Spikes

take a closer look:
what is that guy with the headphones working on? doesnt look exactly like the Krait concept seen in other shots...

I'm thinking about that for quite a while.

Current ideas:
- new fighter, probably Alliance; if flight direction is to the right
- new thargoid mysterious object

I think I'll go for Alliance SLF

Since when "ship" has 4 hearts? It's just Thargoid no "Thargoid ship".

Oh no it’s not just ‘Thargoid’ it’s ‘BABY Thargoid’. Think about it the ships are obviously organic and almost everything we know that’s organic gets bigger as it gets older (Benjamin button was a movie and a bad one At That) ergo we’ve been killing the young Thargoids. Wait till mummy, daddy and uncle tommy turn up to find out where little jimmys gone as it’s past his bed time:S

No no no, Thargoids aren't responsible for those stations on fire!

It actually was a failed communication attempt - their data transmitting communication lasers were adjusted just a little bit on the strong side!
The Thargoid communication officer was disciplined accordingly and had to go to bed (comb?) without supper.

Thargoids are fine people, really! Don't shoot them!

(Nice finds, Cosmo, by the way!)

Yup, just like the death star and starkiller base - they had just tuned the radar dish laser to communicate with a distant galaxy and forgot to tune it down when they called the planet.

Sorry to disappoint every one, but well its like this...

You see I'm a great chilli fanatic.. the hotter the better, and I was making a great big chilli in my python's galley before coming into dock.
Now, knowing that I'm into the more 'interesting' type of trading, I needed to get inside the station quickly before the cops decided to take an interest in the 176 tons of chemicals I'm hauling.
But while aiming at the slot at full chat, I got distracted by the burning smell coming from the galley, hit the side of the slot, spun the ship around losing control and slammed into the back of the station.
The chilli went flying through the doorway into the cargo hold where it mixed and reacted with the vast amount of naughty chemicals I was hauling and turned them into what essentially became thermite.
Then the station lasers opened up on me for upsetting the ATC, ignited the chilli-chemical combination, and that melted its way out on my ship and started the fire, which station services cant put out and its burning its way through everything as a result.

Hence the station on fire pic and the ship launch in the video.....

Rumour has it that the thargoids turned up and were too busy laughing to start any trouble... :D

Ship loss is fine, but only when the player can actively try to prevent it. That's an example of good gameplay.

Logging in after a good night's sleep and finding your assets deleted? That's so stupid that I'm not even going to call it bad gameplay. It's just idiocy. And I think Frontier's smart enough to not go down that route.

Remember, this is a game.

If only there were some way of moving ships and modules between stations that could easily be used to automatically relocate your stuff.
