Station/Ship Graveyards

I'm not sure on the lore of ED when it comes to end of life ships & stations, whether they're completely recycled?

But in high populated systems such as Sol/Archnear, or at least Industrial systems where maybe they build & recycle these ships, it'd be cool to have one of the moons with graveyards of the capital ships & stations.

They'd come up similar to how capital ships & the new space buildings come on the navigation menu now.

You could scavenge (think the latest star wars film), hunt rogue skimmers and race.

and sometimes with stations that go with.. the ramshackle recycling stations.

I can imagine the scene.. definitely a good idea..

even if there are already some ships crushed.. debris piles..

but there is always something that worries me .. a cemetery requires a lot of debris and ships.. there is always a technical limitation after a moment a PC with a 1080 gtx will explode.. then the Xbox lol.. after there is always compression technique are finally developers know better than me the limits haha.

with the same idea the abandoned station.. I imagine a huge hole in a coriolis station or halved hung by messy cables with danger area of radiation .. I've seen this somewhere .. yes to the excellent freelancer.

or station coriolis stranded on a moon (still operational or not).. it would be great..

include radiation or other danger I like it but it may need to add in addition to the destruction of the ship, risk physical integrity so a life bar.

there are also some debris fields such as fields of asteroid.. other ideas.

so give more realism .. we are unfortunately excellent polluter.

I had another idea, I was reluctant to open a new thread..

add tiny station for srv..
I think it fits well with the idea of Station/Ship Graveyards.

these stations near graveyards offer different things :

- simple supplies (ammunition, fuel and repair, free for srv)
- no market but a barter exchange system (goods against material)
- purchase of used equipment (cheaper)
- purchase of small ship and srv (without dock.. self-service)

I think to make possible a highlight system, when one approaches an interactive object that it highlights to inform us .. a process that we see in a lot of game.

indeed after some research there are already pictures circulating on this kind of thing 2.2... I'm not too look for keep the surprise.
