Station too small??

Hey i Try to Dock at Freeport ATM but my Docking requests ar timing out!

now I get Request Denied and i need to try 10-30 Times

So ATM the Stations cant handle all the Players?

yesterday i got request timing out a few times, however not as many times as you.

I haven't seen request denied in ages... are you sure you didn't annoy them some how and they were not deliberately not letting you in?

this morning freeport was packed with ships - most AI and it was a real worry that one of them were going to ram me, but the docking clearence was working ok.

I suspect a bug rather than anything else on the timing out of the request.

No i did not Annoy them becaus 30 Mins later every other docking worket perfectly

If I remember correctly one of the devs wrote some time ago that this is (partly) due to an AI bug where the NPCs basically take all the pads for themselves. I think this is fixed in their internal build.

If it's a station with lots of players around (not necessarily in your instance though) it could also mean that the server is being hammered with requests thus timing out...
