Proposal Discussion Stations and Trade

Hey guys, I have played off and on this week and I have been mostly trading from Eranin with fruits to ibootis and then i bootis to Eranin so all I have seen are the basic cube like space stations. I just bought the beta this week so my question is, have anyone been able to see other space station designs with the standard beta? If so where?

Secondly, any other trade routes quick and profitable. ibootis' is expensive.

Go to Aulin from Bootis and check that station out.

There's a trade route between the two that I am sure you will easily figure out also.

Travel around my friend and see all the wonders in the ED universe! There are a couple station types atm and there is even a tropical one with palm trees and everything! Dont know right now which it was...

For trading i would reccomend you use the map and the trade routes part. They will offer you probably better profit then you are doing now. Good luck!

The palm tree one is in Wyrd if I remember rightly. I could be wrong though.

Take a look at Aulin for an "Orbis" space station. There are also some interesting variants of it floating about too.

See also:
Pi-Fang (apparently not cylindrical, not been there yet)
Wyrd, which has gardens and a lighter feel iirc
There is another where the colour scheme is red/white rather than greys too. Can't remember.

Anyway, they are out there....

Don't have any good trade routes though. As soon as they are posted, they tend to dry up. I tried one posted here and the station had no stock left a few hours later!

It depends what ship you're in but yes there are much more profitable runs. Take a look on the map and try to figure it out. :) Or you could use one of those trade cheat tools. ;)

BTW.. a good way to explore is to take some of the courier runs. It encourages you to move out of your comfort zone.

Hey Thanks guys. I knew they were out their some where but with 3,000 creds and only a sidewinder, I am getting itchy to explore but I have short range. I could not understand why you all told me to figure it out on the map. Irritated me until I actually played with it and food great trade runs!! Goodbye ignorance, hello figure it out on your own!! Thanks again!

Ditch the guns, it will increase your range a bit, you'll have to run from interdictions but should be fine

Pi-Fang [Brookes Estate] is one with palm trees, not been to Wyrd yet so don't know if this has palms too

Talking about stations, a stupi8d question perhaps but as it costs me quite some time:
When i arrive at the cube stations, i often have trouble finding the entrance. I try to focus on the advertising screens (as they are like a line from the cube, but often i can;t find it and it is probably somewhere where i can't find it). Is there something logical what i miss?

Wyrd is weird.... Nice and bright and you need the docking computer to get you to the pad, because the numbers aren't cutting it. I almost timed out and crashed because someone decided to put pastel pink numbers in a fluffy light environment.
